WELCOME

The London Junior Chess Championships is one of the country's most prestigious junior chess events. Qualifying events for U8, U10 & U12 age groups run in different venues throughout the autumn. There is no prior qualification necessary for the U14 events and above.

In addition, LJCC also organises adult events open to all: Northwick Park Congress and the London Christmas Congress, which run alongside the junior events.

The U12 Major finals is also a pre-selection tournament for the EPSCA England U11 Team.

We are delighted to announce the LJCC Centenary Tournament 2024 has been named ECF Tournament of the Year.
